Coll is accessable by car ferry and now due to our recently completed runway, by air.
Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries
All ferries for Coll leave from Caledonian MacBrayne's ferry terminal in OBAN. A daily service runs in the summer to and from Oban, with 4 services a week in the winter. All flights for Coll leave from Connel airport near Oban.

Car to Oban
Roads to Oban run through beautiful scenery. Edinburgh 120 miles, Glasgow 96 miles, London under 500 miles. From Glasgow you travel alongside Loch Lomond on the A82 until you reach Tarbet where you have the option of staying on the A82/A85 through Crianlarich, Tyndrum and on to Oban or follow the A83/A819 over the 'Rest and be Thankful' and through Inverary.
Both journeys take between 2 and 3 hours, although you may be tempted to stop several times to admire the scenery.
